Author: i was just looking for a little advice on how NOT to get a erection on my date with my new girlfriend ..were both 14 . well were gunan go mini golfing then seeing a movie at her friends house after and at golfing im going to kiss her and at movie were prolly gunna be cuddling and what not. by the way i WILL be wearing boxers so dont give me advice on undewear ….anyways help! thnx

What exactly is youthful lust and how to identify it?
I never really understood 2 Timothy 2:22 about what is youthful lust exactly. Is it every time you lust after a woman or just doing something you love more than spending time with God. I have pictures of sexy women on my psp and laptop but I don’t lust after the women. I just compliment on their bodies and the artwork. I don’t go like “Man, I want to have sex with this woman.” I don’t say that because I know that’s wrong. But I do get an erection sometimes because I’m a man with a strong sex drive given by God. I could delete these pictures if I believe someone’s response to this question if they convince me that a Christian shouldn’t have sexy pictures regardless if there in a lot of magazines, on tv, internet, laptop, or other media device. I could delete these pictures but it’s still easy to get them back on my media devices. If someone says that I shouldn’t I need to get rid of all my entertainment and be cold turkey. I have a strong relationship with God and I don’t think God says, “You need to do more in this and that to please me.” I believe he is already pleased with me where I am now and just continue to live my life with Him and enjoy it. I do a lot of Bible studying so when someone says something which I’m not real sure about such as spiritual issues I go to the Bible and prove it to myself which is the best research. I particularly don’t think that looking at these pics is wrong as long as you don’t lust. I’m an art appreciater and have my favorite art styles. I do like some nude paintings of women done by artists throughout history. I propose another question, what if I had only pics of paintings of nude women done by my favorite artists instead of sexy pics of women?
